Overview

Step into a hidden Goan treasure — an island-village where every house and every family has its own quirky nickname. This storybook setting, nestled in a quiet corner of Goa, is a labyrinth of brightly painted houses, winding alleys, and wide-open spaces where peacocks roam freely and time drifts at its own pace.

Your day begins with a ferry ride or bridge crossing into this whimsical paradise, where you’ll visit a tiny fort, peek into a traditional bakery (padeira), and discover ancient mannos (sluice gates) that regulate the island’s water flow. Savor seasonal Goan bites in a private front yard, try your hand at rowing a tiny boat or crabbing, and sip on refreshing feni cocktails. Wrap up with a hearty lunch or supper buffet prepared by a local aunty — all while soaking in the authentic Goan spirit.
